John Mahon, M.D. Family Medicine
Dr. Mahon combines his joy of family with his joy of being a doctor. His warm and caring style of patient care is legend. A willingness to be flexible in giving truly individualized patient care has made Dr. Mahon a special asset to Encompass Medical Group. As a Family Practitioner, his skills and experiences are commensurate with caring for all ages.
Dr. Mahon is married to wife Melanie, and has four lovely daughters. He enjoys traveling and playing golf and loves American History.
Dr. Mahon graduated Magna Cum Laude from Briar Cliff College in Sioux City, Iowa. He received his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine, and completed a Family Practice Residency in Sioux Falls in 1986. New patients are welcome to join his practice
