Northland – Gladstone Lab Services

For your convenience a Quest Patient Service Center is located on site in Suite 160 and is
open from 7:30am-4:30pm Monday through Friday. Most samples are processed on site
by an Encompass staff member and routed to our in-house lab or depending on insurance
carrier sent to the appropriate reference laboratory for testing. The medical assistant will
provide you with any specific instructions, such as fasting, etc. in preparation for your
blood test. Once completed, your physician will review your lab work. In most cases
a member of our staff will contact you to discuss any lab results that are outside the
normal range. Your physician may also choose to mail your results and recommendations
to you. Before leaving the office, clarify with your provider how you would like to
be contacted. Please allow 2-3 weeks for us to contact you regarding your results.
Alarming abnormalities will be addressed in a timelier manner. If you call about lab
results, please provide the receptionist with the name of the test, date performed and the
location in which the test was collected. Please remember the laboratory is not allowed to
give out patient results, results can only be obtained from your provider or their medical
